🏠The Bogey

The Bogey is a solitaire card game designed by Katharine Turner with rules avalaible from Boardgame Geek and a YouTube video explaining the rules courtesy of Totally Tabled.

The object of the game is to place all the cards in as few columns as possible:

Eight or fewer

Epic Victory

Nine

Legendary Victory

10

Advanced Victory

11

Normal Victory

12

Novice Victory

A card can be added to a column if it is the same suit and lower value (king is 14 and ace is 1).

What makes this tricky is turns alternate with the "The Bogey".

Your turns starts with five hand cards. You can play as many of these as you like to columns or the discard pile. To replenish your hand, you need to play the top card from the deck for the Bogey.

You lose if you cannot place a card on any column.
