🏠 Skyway

Skyway is designed by Wilhelm Su, one of ten solitaire games in his Isaludo collection.

There's a 3x3 grid representing a city, and the object is to create paths running vertically or horizontally from a card to a neighbouring card of the same suit and higher value. Paths can bounce back and forth between neighbouring cells holding several cards of the same suit.

Each turn, you select one of three options from an open market, which features one option of a single card and two of two cards, and then either the pair or single card on any of the nine cells. Cards not selected are discarded, with a fresh selection each turn.

Each cell holds a maximum three cards, with the oldest cards discarded to keep the three card limit.

A game consists of refreshing the deck from the discard pile three times. Managing to create five-length paths for each suit in the given turns is pretty difficult.
